Artisanal fishing decision model

Aggregate fishery models tell you what a fleet did; they do not tell you why. This one starts from the individual — each fisherman with their own constraints, information and incentives — and lets fleet behaviour emerge from the sum of those decisions.

The same year, as an intern with the institute, I built a metadata portal for fishery resources, making research datasets discoverable rather than file-shared.
